Quotebook

Data processing agreement

This page describes, in plain terms, how Quotebook supports a data processing agreement between you (the buyer, as controller of your vendors' contact details) and Quotebook (as processor). It is not legal advice and does not replace Quotebook's terms of service.

Role and instructions

Quotebook processes vendor contact details and project data only to run the service you asked for: filing your project mail, sending the vendor requests you create, and showing you the ledger and tracker built from them. It takes no instruction about your project's data from anyone but you.

Subprocessors

Cloudflare (hosting, database and inbound mail), Amazon SES (sending), Anthropic (reading a quote, only when you ask) and Google (sign-in) — see Privacy for what each one keeps. Quotebook will name any new subprocessor on this page before using it.

Deletion

Quotebook deletes a project's data when you close and delete it, or at its keep-until date if later, unless a legal hold is on; it deletes an account's data when you delete the account. See Privacy for the backup schedule.

Breach notice

If Quotebook becomes aware of a breach affecting your project's data, it will tell you at your account's email address without undue delay.
